Presentation
With an undergraduate degree in behavioural sciences with sociology as my major and a PhD in Education (2001), I am presently holding a position as professor of education at the Department of Education here at Stockholm University.
My overriding research interest is feminist theories and methodologies in the educational sciences. During the last few years our research-group has been involved with theoretical and methodological developments with a posthumanist relational-materialist approach. I focus my research mainly on the materiality of learning and the construction of subjectivity in under- and postgraduate education practices, as well as in early childhood education practices. This work has led me to collaborations with research and researchers engaged in feminist science technology studies, material semiotics, posthumanist animal-studies and philosophies of immanence at universities in Sweden, Norway, U.K., U.S.A and Australia.
