A PhD student in the field of transnational film history, I work on different aspects of the trans-Scandinavian in the silent era. For a description of my dissertation project, see below. Other research interests are fashion studies, media history, visual culture, and relations between film and literature. During my time as a PhD student I have taught in a number of courses, above all ”Fashion and Film”, and I regularly give papers at international conferences such as NECS, Domitor, SCMS, and Women and the Silent Screen. I have an M.St. degree in European literature from University of Oxford and a B.A. in cinema studies and comparative literature from Stockholm University.
